Hello to my neglected blog! there has been many reasons why I haven’t been posting so often but I will explain later. I really wanted to show off beautiful Maya. She is so cheeky and so happy. I have never laughed so hard as Maya squealed and giggled as she soaked up all the attention from Mum, Dad and me.
Can’t wait to show you the rest guys!

I have never seen a child love chooks as much as this kid does. They are an easy pet to have and a bonus is you get fresh eggs!
Here are just some film photos that I love of Owen and his chook Boofy.

I just love seeing the newborns I get to photograph all grown up. Well not quite all grown up. But it feels that way when you remember them as tiny babies. I only photographed Archie as a newborn 4 months ago, wow he has grown! and is thriving. This time I used only film and loved it. Isn’t he just gorgeous, even when he is crying.

This is not the film post I promised in my last post, I’m still trying to decide my favourites. In the mean time meet beautiful Brooke. Brooke did not liked being touched or being naked, but if we let her be she was happy to pose for me all on her own.
Congratulations again Chris and Virginia, Brooke is beautiful. I can’t wait to show the rest of the photos!

I just got a heap of scanned film images back from the lab and I’m so excited to share them all. I have so many new favourites of Owen I will have to share them in small doses. I also have some gorgeous film images of the cutest baby that I can’t wait to show off, you will have to check back later in the week for those one’s.
First off here is Owen with his chook – Boofy.

I don’t know if he has genuinely taught it how to sit or if the poor thing is so terrified of him she is frozen with fear here.

What I love about being a photographer is the little adventures we always go on, looking for new locations and new things to photograph and just spending the afternoon wondering around in a field.

I loved every moment of this shoot. Getting to know Rebecca and Richard and seeing their excitement and anticipation was just amazing to be a part of. Thank you guys for such a fun afternoon, I can’t wait to meet your new baby in few short weeks.

I’m so behind in adding new posts to my journal. So much has been going on behind the scenes, including me getting the worst flu in history! you know when you get so sick for so long you forget what It feels like to feel normal again. Well thankfully I’m back to my old self and hopefully back to posting… Starting with a beautiful pregnant belly.

Having a baby is such a special time in your life and is a time that should be captured and remembered. I know we feel uncomfortable when we are pregnant, especially towards the end and it is hard putting ourselves in front of a strangers camera. But I regret not having any beautiful photos of my pregnancy, so I encourage you to let go of your fears and get some photos done and show of your beautiful bump!
Alex I know you were nervous and I hope you are happy with the results. Now you have these beautiful memories of a very short but amazing time in your life.

I know I’m biased and there is no other reason for this post other than to show off Owen… this boy takes my breath away.

I thought I was spoilt on mother’s day with my pancakes in bed, but Megan got the best mother’s day present ever.. Beautiful Mackenzie!
Megan’s house was beautiful and warm and Mackenzie was well fed and undressed ready for her photo shoot when I arrived. This made my job so much easier and we were able to get a huge range of photos with Mackenzie sleeping peacefully.
Thanks for making my job so easy Megan and Adam. Mackenzie is absolutely beautiful, congrats guys. I can’t wait to show you rest.
